Empowering the Ride: Miss Cycling Uganda 2026 This International Women’s Day, Kazo Talent Charity Foundation celebrated the strength, endurance, and spirit of our community with the Miss Cycling Uganda tournament. Under the bright afternoon sun, athletes and supporters gathered at the Bangafi Head Office for a race that was about much more than just a podium finish—it was about leveling the playing field. The Race Breakdown At exactly 1:00 PM, the whistle blew, sending a sea of determined cyclists onto the course. The tournament featured two primary categories: The Women’s Elite Race: A challenging 49km route that showcased incredible tactical skill and stamina. The Men’s Solidarity Race: A grueling 70km course completed by riders showing their support for the cause. Why We Rode While the competition was fierce, the heart of the event was our mission to fundraise for Women’s Cyclist Gear. Historically, female cyclists in our region have faced barriers to entry, including limited access to professional-grade equipment, safety gear, and bicycles. By racing today, we aren't just celebrating how far we’ve come; we are ensuring that every woman with the talent and the drive has the equipment she needs to succeed. A Community Effort Kazo Talent Charity Foundation would like to thank our partners at Bangafi, our tireless volunteers, and every donor who contributed to the gear fund. Your contributions are directly helping us provide helmets, kits, and bikes to aspiring female riders. The road to equality is long, but it’s a lot easier to climb when we’re all pedaling together.
